Sky Remore control codes for Yamaha Amplifier

I am trying to find the code to use with my Sky+ remore control to allow
me to control the volume on mt Yamaha RX-420RDS amplifier.

I heard that many remotes can be reprogrammed electrically for arbitrary
codes if dismantled and the right connector is located (just as they
would in the factory). Might this be true for Sky and Sky+.

I have tried various internet searches and can not find anything for Yamaha.

No chance.
Sky remotes including Sky+ only allow control of TVs.

The Sky+ remote can operate several amps.
