Kevin...
Off to Kuredu next month and will be diving with prodivers. Has anyone been
there and have any advice for me?

Paul Smith...
Sorry, delayed SMB

Paul Smith...
- Kit hire is expensive, make sure you take your own - especially a computer

EVERYthing is expensive in the Maldives,,,,,,,,,,,

Paul Smith...
True! OK, I'll rephrase that:

EVERYTHING is expensive, but kit hire is an avoidable expense.

Some Trip photos on line at www.morg.co.uk

- Mycotic ear infections can be a problem, take some advice on what to do
- Take a comprehensive medical kit. You'll need to see the doctor just to
get an Immodium and it'll be expensive.
- Make sure you do : The Shipyard, Kahlifushifaru Corner (follow Jutta, she
knows where to find the frog fish!), Felivaru Thila in the mornings.
- If there's not a big current on The Express, give it another go on another
day - more sharks than you can shake a stick at.
- Snorkelling is good on the less popular north side of the island. You'll
need to walk over rocks to get there so use booties and adjustable fins.
- Full suits or dive skins are a good idea, there's plenty to sting you in
the water
- Nitrox is free, if you're not already qualified get qualified early
- Take a blob
- You'll be given a 10L tank. If you use a bit more air, ask for a 12 or
15 - there's no extra charge
- Even all inclusive, water is still US$1.50 a bottle. Buy a couple and
then refill them from the drinking water tap near the shower at the dive
centre.
- The diving is excellent, don't forget to enjoy yourself!

Have fun
