Speakers for mp3players alarm.

Per Blomqvist...
I want to use the alarm function on my mp3-player (Iaudio G3).

And can't wakeup in the morning, if the sound comes out from earphones,
as now.

So I need to use the device with loud speakers.

Per Stromgren...
Do you already own any equipment that has loudspekares, say a boom
box, or stereo equipment? If yes, connect it to that equipment. It
does not consume very much power when idle.

If not, a set of very cheap powered PC speakers will do. Don't be
concerned about the power consumption, it will probably be neglible.

Per Blomqvist...
Yes, I guess a set of PC speakers will do it.

But I don't have any.
And I don't want any.

I use an 80's Panasonic thing, as loudspeaker for the PC today (10 W, 3
ohm thing), using its internal jacks and amplifier.

But with some portable (external) amplifier (say 10-100W like that
T-Amp) thing, I will only keep speakers, around. And its Class-T power
consumption is neglible, for sure.

I don't know about the power levels from the mp3player, vs PC's though.
It's the same 3.5mm jacks, but.. (?)

Are there any amplifier-system that can fix it?
(To say to: 10 W, 3 ohm)

And that are "turned off" then there are "no audio" signal.
(soo it doesn't eat battery and/or speaker brums all night throw)

Any Ideer?

I seen the description of may (tiny) speakers, for mp3-players. But have
not seen this feature for standby, that I request. Are there nobody who
plugs this mp3players to real HiFi speakers here??

Any Ideer???
