Tips on building an extension: Bedroom
The largest area of our extension is given over to the bedroom with an area of about
9m by 4m. We have built in storage space along one walk and an extra walk-in wardrobe
off one end. The room stretches from the front to the back of the house with windows
at both ends. There are additional glass block windows above eye level along the remaining
external wall that let the evening light in from the West.
The room is large enough for a super-king-size bed which we positioned near the rear
where we have a view over the park behind. The front area of the room has a living area
with a sofa and coffee table.
